Project 5 - Open Project

Artist Statement:

For this project I plan to use a photograph of myself and trace some of it in Adobe Illustrator with the bezier tool. I want to show a smooth transition between what is traced and what is the photograph. I don't have a specific reasoning to why I would like to do this other than I think it would be a fun concept. Below is the image I plan to use.

In progress update:

I have narrowed it down to four iterations. The order I have places them in (top to bottom) represents my favorite to my least favorite.

Project 4 - Visual Sequential Narrative

Artist Statement:

I am not sure I completely understand the assignment, I know it has to be a story of some sort so I am thinking of going home and gathering any kind of sports pictures I have from growing up. I played baseball all the way up until I graduated High School, so maybe I can do something of that nature?
